Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art
- 1400 1st Ave N, Great Falls, MT 59401
- (406)-727-8255
Originally built in the late 19th century, this museum was once the home of Paris Gibson, the founder of the city. It hosts art from local and national artists, art classes for adults and kids, and other community events. And it has free parking!

First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park
- 342 Ulm Vaughn Rd, Ulm, MT 59485
- (406)-866-2217
Located outside of Great Falls about 15 miles south in Ulm, this state park features one of the largest buffalo jumps in North America. The term “buffalo jump” refers to the prehistoric hunting method used by Plains Indians to kill bison. Native tribes would drive herds of bison to run over a cliff and get injured, which made the buffalo easier to kill. These herds of bison could sometimes reach hundreds of buffalo at a time.

The Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail Interpretive Center
- 4201 Giant Springs Rd, Great Falls, MT 59405
- (406)-727-8733
This interpretive center provides visitors with knowledge about Lewis and Clark’s historic expedition through the American West in the early 1800s. Rent a Bus To Visit Great Falls Neighborhoods
Ready to explore? Don’t be shy about checking out the city’s residential neighborhoods too! Here are some of our picks:

Riverview
A charming little district, Riverview is nestled between the historic downtown and the banks of the Missouri River and features a mixture of family-owned and operated businesses, with several local-loved bars and restaurants within walking distance of one another. A mini bus charter rental is a great way for your group of partygoers or foodies to explore some of the city’s lesser-known gems.

Fox Farm
The neighborhood was originally settled by John Fox Jr. and his family in the late 19th century and was one of Great Falls’ first rural homesteads. The area transformed into a fully developed residential neighborhood around 1960, with a mix of family homes and ranch-style houses on winding, tree-lined streets.

Black Eagle
The most historic neighborhood in Great Falls is Black Eagle, which was built up after the first dam was established on the Missouri River in 1890. You’ll find several historic buildings and museums, as well as Black Eagle Falls: the spot where Black Eagle Dam was built.

Malmstrom
This neighborhood, located at the northern edge of Great Falls and close to the Malmstrom Air Force Base, is home to several military families. Malmstrom also has a small business center featuring family-friendly restaurants and attractions. It’s also home to the city’s largest shopping center and Walmart.
